The mark, the lockup, and the few rules for using them, for anyone writing about Desert Ant Labs or integrating our models. Everything on this page is free to use.
The mark
Ink on light backgrounds, cream on dark ones. The lockup is the mark with the wordmark; use it from about 120px wide. Below that, use the mark alone.

Using the mark
- Keep the plate's corner radius and proportions. Scale the whole mark; never stretch it.
- Leave clear space around it of at least one of its small squares on every side.
- Use the supplied colors only: ink on light, cream on dark. Don't recolor it, add effects, or put it inside another shape.
- Don't redraw the mark or combine it with other logos into a single lockup.
- In running text, write the name in words. The mark is not a character.
The name
- The company is Desert Ant Labs. In a second mention, Desert Ant is fine. Not "DAL", not "DesertAnt", not "Desert Ant Lab".
- Models are named with one capitalized word: Clear, Uhm, Redact, Emo, Shapes. No article, no quotes, no trademark symbol.
- The website is desertant.com; the models are published on Hugging Face and the SDK on GitHub.
About Desert Ant Labs
For a byline, a footer, or a press piece, this paragraph can be used as is, links included:
Desert Ant Labs is a European lab that builds small on-device models for audio and vision. The models run inside apps on the phone, the desktop, and in the browser, so nothing leaves the device and there is no per-call cost. Developers add them with one lightning-fast SDK for Swift, Kotlin, and JavaScript; the models are open on Hugging Face.
